CEO & Managing Director
Asha’s career started in 1985, when she started working for a family concern Multiplan Pvt Ltd, which was engaged on large scale construction projects in the Middle East. In 1989, she set up a business called Multiplan Services to provide outsourced accounting services to multinationals opening offices in India. In this role, she was instrumental in establishing a model for running the entire retirement benefits package for companies such as Nestle, Oracle and Gillette. Then in 2001 when she moved to Singapore with her husband’s job, Asha acquired a small accounting business called Money Matters For Expats. Her prolific career in accounting has seen her manage large-scale projects for global industries, deal with diverse government agencies and tax regimes, and manage accounts in multiple currencies. In addition to her busy career, Asha volunteers with and supports local charities, the Child@Street 11 and the Association of Persons of Special Needs and International Support Group Foundation, Thailand. Asha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education (Honours), is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Anil has garnered over 40 years of business experience with leading MNCs including Metal Box, Unilever and Pepsico. After retiring from Pepsico as VP HR for Asia in 2004, he built a successful consulting practice which was awarded assignments with several Pepsico entities, ABN Amro Bank South East Asia, DHL Asia, HP Asia, GPT Steel India, Bakrie Telecom Indonesia, Optimin Singapore, Scholastic Asia, Dyson Asia, and L’Oreal Asia. One of the founding Directors of Money Matters For Expats Singapore and Dixit Associates Singapore, Anil builds companies with four core values that underpin his approach: Business Oversight, Strategic Planning, Capability Building, & Continuous Improvement
Born in Romania, Melitta moved to Germany at the age of 14. She completed her ACCA after her university studies in Germany, majoring in Controlling, Accounting and Business Administration. She is now a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Accompanying her husband on his move to Singapore for his job transfer, they have been living in Singapore for nearly 10 years. As a Permanent Resident Melitta now calls Singapore her home, and after more than nine years with Money Matters, having been the Head of Accounting she has currently moved to her new role managing Human Resources, Administration & internal Finances. In her new role she aims to make the company and staff more efficient and productive. She will also try to navigate the difficult job market to find employees suitable for delivering the quality service which Money Matters For Expats provides.
Manager – Projects
Ramutė is a Lithuanian, having lived through the last decade in France, UK, Netherlands and more recently in Singapore where she has worked with Money Matters for over eight years. She has been handling various aspects of our business: Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Secretarial, on-boarding and training of new entrants and working as an Executive Assistance to the CEO. Multilingual in English, French, Russian and Lithuanian. MBA and Master in Finance, Ramutė is also a certified chartered accountant (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants with a strong technical knowledge across management / financial accounting and corporation tax. Ramutė is a mum to three joyful kids with the little boy having been born in Singapore.
Manager – Accounting
Geneviève is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec with over 11 years of professional accounting experience.Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, Geneviève completed her Bachelors of Commerce at McGill University with an Honors in Accounting before earning the CPA, CA designation. She specialized in audit at PwC, where she worked and led teams for over 5 years. She later relocated to Burkina Faso where she was appointed Financial Controller of a major gold mining operation, responsible for preparing timely statutory financial information to company stakeholders, managing relationships with government tax authorities, and managing and developing a team of local talent. At Money Matters, Geneviève manages the accounting practice, working closely with clients across a wide array of industries.
Manager – HR & Company Secretarial
Sehr was born and raised in Pakistan, but having spent the last 9 years here she now calls Singapore home. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in psychology and economics from Dartmouth College in the USA. Subsequently she spent 5 years working as an investment banker in the energy group at Citigroup in New York. In 2008 she and her husband decided to relocate to Singapore and she has been a part of the Money Matters team since then. Sehr is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Outside of work, Sehr loves to play board/card games, discover new restaurants and spend time with her husband and two children.
